An 18-year-old Callander driver has raised the ire of several members of the public with his driving habits, which includes damaging one lawn, according to the North Bay Police Service.

The police received several complaints from members of the public with regards to the driving of a grey Volkswagen car in areas of Callander and the area of Riverbend Road in of North Bay. The police investigation alleges that the accused had driven his vehicle in a dangerous manner causing several people to fear for their safety. North Bay Police remind the public that one of the priorities of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police deals with making Canada’s roads the safest in the world. To achieve this, police have to focus on behaviours that put drivers, passengers and other road users most at risk: impaired driving, lack of seat belt use, aggressive driving, and distracted driving. Proper driving saves lives.
