Traffic wasn’t able to cross Highway 17 from Gormanville Friday morning to the roundabout after someone knocked down the traffic light pole.
The pole blocked access to continue on to the roundabout from Gormanville.
The downed light standard also prevented eastbound traffic on Highway 17 from making the left turn at Gormanville.
However westbound traffic on Highway 17 was able to take the Gormanville off-ramp and head to the roundabout.

Traffic on McKeown heading to the roundabout was not affected.
An OPP officer was on the scene waiting for a repair crew to arrive and directing traffic if the need arose.
