Hwy 17 closed in both directions at Markstay-Warren due to collision. No estimated time of re-opening.

The OPP reports the driver of this tractor-trailer will be charged with careless driving.
This collision took place east of Warren, approximately 75 kilometres west of North Bay. Police say the transport is in the north side ditch and the highway will be reduced to one lane.
The OPP is reminding motorists to drive according to the weather conditions.
Slow down. Leave extra time for your journey. Leave extra space between you and the vehicles around you. Always drive with an emergency roadside kit.
