A persistent snowfall of fluffy flakes set the tone perfectly for the 2018 North Bay Santa Claus Parade.
Citizens lined the parade route along Chippewa Street to Fisher Street to Main Street to mark the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season.
This year’s theme was “A Futuristic Chrismas” and awards will be handed out for the Best Overall Float and the group with the Best Spirit, as well as in the following categories:
- Bands
- Hospitality Industry
- Choirs/Singing Groups
- Non-Profit Groups
- Commercial/Industrial Groups
- Post Secondary Schools
- Elementary Schools
- Retail Outlets
- Financial Institutions
- Secondary Schools
- Sports Groups
- Service Groups or Organizations
