Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod says she believes critics and anti-poverty advocates will be surprised by the new plan, which will focus on support for the most vulnerable. NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says she’s very worried for what the province has in store.

Canada Post exaggerating package problem claims workers’ union

As Ottawa prepares back-to-work legislation, the postal workers’ union is lashing out.
While Canada Post has claimed it has thousands of packages waiting for processing and delivery, the union claims the number is much lower. Union officials say the company has been exaggerating the amount of package backlog to incite action from the feds.
