News Radiothon Day One a success — stay tuned for Day Two SHARE ON: Stu Campaigne, staff Thursday, Dec. 6th, 2018 Chair of the Santa Fund, Lachlan McLachlan and Moose FM on-air personality Steph Ferris work the airwaves for generous donations. Photo credit: Moose FM After the first day of our Radiothon, we have raised $6,585 for the North Bay Santa Fund! Thank you to all of our generous donors. For 71 years, the Santa Fund has collected donations to help those in need during the holiday season and the Moose FM Radiothon is in full swing to do our part to help this charitable institution reach its $145,000 goal. Moose FM will again be raising funds for the Santa Fund on the final day of our Radiothon, running from 6 to 6 tomorrow. Join us tomorrow as we are joined in studio by North Bay firefighters, the crew from New Ontario Brewing Company, and more community partners. We have opened up our station, our phone lines, and our hearts, asking for your help. Volunteers pack and deliver over 800 baskets of groceries, plus over 1,700 toys to be shared with families and children in the North Bay area. The Santa Fund is the city’s largest and longest-running fundraising effort. Please help support the cause so there is no family without food, no children without toys.
