Domestic dispute leads to charges

A domestic dispute at an East Ferris business that involved a knife has resulted in charges against a Guelph-area man.

North Bay OPP got the call about the incident mid-afternoon Wednesday and that the accused left the scene before their arrival.

During his getaway, the man drove right by the OPP cruiser responding to the call prompting the officer to turn around and pursue the vehicle.

The chase didn’t last long because the man got stuck in a snowbank in a driveway and ran from police.
