At a press conference this morning, new information has been released by investigators in the Abraham Kamerman homicide case:
- Kamerman was at the home of a female acquaintance at her residence on Beattie Street last Wednesday.
- At approximately 8:55pm, police say the two accused parties, 26-year-old Ryan Abraham and 25-year-old Taylor Briscoe attended the residence to engage in a home invasion-style robbery.
- Police Chief Shawn Devine said later in an interview it was believed the home invasion was drug-related.
- Police believe Ryan Abraham was carrying the firearm.
- The victim was shot with what police say were several rounds, discharged after an altercation between the victim and Abraham outside the apartment door.
- Police say Abraham and Briscoe then fled the area by car.
- Ryan Abraham remains in custody in London to face charges for his activities there and will likely have a bail hearing on the second-degree murder charge via video conference today.
