If you’ve had enough of sweeping up those fallen Christmas tree needles, this is for you.
The City of North Bay is reminding residents that once the holidays are over, Christmas trees can be recycled at the Public Works yard, located at 1399 Franklin Street.
All ornaments, tinsel, and lights must be removed from the tree before bringing it to the drop-off location. Trees cannot be left at the Recycling Centre or put out at the curb for collection with garbage.
The drop-off site is now open. Place your tree in the trailer located at the front of the Public Works yard. There is no charge for drop-off.
