Six people have been arrested and are currently in custody for drug-related offences, according to the North Bay Police Service.

This after members of the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit and the Emergency Response Team conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Bloem Street in North Bay, shortly after 8:30am.

Police say a quantity of illicit drugs, Canadian currency and a prohibited weapon have been seized. The investigation is continuing and more details will be released as they become available.
