The West Nipissing General Hospital can carry out lots of repairs and upgrades to the facility after getting $2,835,994 from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
The ministry awarded the hospital the multi-million dollar grant under its Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The fund contains $175-million and in total 128 Ontario hospitals were awarded infrastructure upgrade funds.
This includes the North Bay Regional Health Centre which receives $517,953.
Not on the list for any money was the Mattawa Hospital.
