On February 10th and 17th, Cheapskates is pleased to present SNOW WARS XXV at Laurentian Ski/Snowboard Hill. The competition is in its 25th year and besides longevity, the quality of competitors has made SNOW WARS one of the best events in Ontario. The main event this coming Sunday is the Jam event in the Park, registration can be completed at Cheapskates, 274 Main Street East or at the hill that day starting at 9:00am.The judging begins at 11:00am and will run through until approximately 3:00pm. Categories will include Snowboard, Ski, and Mixed. A week from Sunday will feature the Ski/Snowboard Snowcross events, open to all ages. Interested participants can contact the Laurentian Ski Hill for details. Winners and participants will have an opportunity to win great prizes valued at over $4,000.
