The province is giving two agencies $53,400 to make repairs and renovations to their buildings. Algonquin Child and Family Services is getting most of the money. The child and family-oriented group is the recipient of $46,900 which will be directed to interior building upgrades. The Ojibway Women’s Lodge at the Nipissing First Nation is getting $6,500 to help it with plumbing upgrades. All the money is from the government’s Partner Facility Renewal program. Across Ontario, the government is putting $1.6 million into more than 60 projects for upgrades and repairs to their respective buildings. Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the two projects announced for the district will keep the buildings safe and in good shape for its users.
