Last Sunday night, shortly before 9:00pm, the North Bay Police Service says officers conducted a traffic stop in the downtown area of North Bay as part of a drug investigation.
Police arrested and charged a 23-year-old North Bay man with:
- One count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- One count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
A search of the vehicle located 14 grams of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $2,100. Also seized was $195 in Canadian currency.
The accused was escorted to police headquarters and later released with a court date for March 26.
