Michael Ianiro of Northern Airport Service is praising the driver of one the company’s vehicles for keeping passengers calm in the chaos of the pile-up involving dozens of vehicles south of Barrie yesterday.
In a Facebook post, Ianiro writes, “Thankfully there were no serious injuries. I would like to take this opportunity to try and express my gratitude to Andy, our driver. As usual, he went above and beyond keeping everyone comfortable and calm while the process unfolded to getting passengers moving again. There are no words I can use to convey my gratitude but I will certainly begin with a heart felt Thank You.”
Ianiro also thanks travel industry friends who helped passengers from being stranded in the aftermath of the incident.
