If you are planning to take in the North Bay committee and council meetings, you’ll have to wait until next week.
Both meetings originally scheduled for tonight have been cancelled and both have been rescheduled for next Monday.
All this shifting around has to do with the passing of the 2019 budget, set for a vote next Monday.
City Clerk Karen McIsaac says the “committee meeting has been cancelled as the subject matter deals with the budget.”
The Mayor has called a Special Committee Meeting for 5:30pm and the matters that were scheduled to be heard tonight will be addressed then.
A Special Council meeting had already been scheduled and advertised to be held at 6:30pm and the items on the agenda for the council meeting will now be heard at that Special Council meeting next Monday, March 18.
