It’s recognition time at the North Bay chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society.
This Thursday the agency will honour its longtime volunteers during an awards ceremony where several community awards will also be presented.
All the awards take place during the launch of the organization’s annual Daffodil Campaign.
One of the volunteers who will be on hand for the event is Lisa Dupuis who is also a cancer survivor.

In just a couple of weeks during April about 300 volunteers will be selling daffodils to raise money for cancer research.
The launch of the campaign and awards all take place at the society’s Lakeshore Drive office.
