The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo in West Nipissing is getting a major shot in the arm from the provincial government.
The event is getting $250,000 from the Celebrate Ontario program.
When IPMs are held in communities, the week-long event can attract up to 80,000 people.
West Nipissing has been planning its IPM for two years.
It takes place in Verner from September 17th to the 21st.
