The chair of North Bay’s Summer in the Park says a big name act is considering coming to this summer’s waterfront concert. The name can’t be revealed at this time but John Strang says it would be a coup for the city. And Strang adds right now it looks good because two east coast communities are going after the same act. Music acts depend on a string of engagements in the same general region to make the travelling more affordable. The rock and roll act has until January 23rd to respond to the offer.
