In case you didn’t hear over the weekend, there have been more job cuts at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Fifty-five five full time positions, and 20 part-time, were cut on Friday. The cuts are a result of more community and home care being provided for hospital patients, rather than in house. The hospital is also cutting 8 mental health beds as they move these patients into community homes.
