Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited and assorted dignitaries officially broke ground today on the $31 million dollar Cascades Casino project in North Bay.
The 39,000 square foot casino, located on land between 300 Pinewood Park Drive and Highway 11, will feature 300 slots and eight live table games.
Gateway officials say “up to 300 jobs,” ranging from career managerial to part-time hourly wage jobs will be created at Cascades Casino.
The development will contain a MATCH Eatery & Public House and The Buffet and is expected to open in July 2020.
