Downtown anchor Pearls to close its doors

It’s nearing the end of an era in downtown North Bay.

Pearls, locally owned and operated since 1975, with over 30 years serving customers downtown is closing its doors for good this summer.

The management and staff of Pearls have always taken pride in the shop’s stylish offerings and a high level of customer service, growing a loyal base with their patrons spanning decades.

Sales for 79 cents on the dollar on all stock, including jewellery and handbags are underway at the Main Street West location. A sign inside reads: “Everything must go.”

The Pearls outlet in the Northgate Shopping Centre ceased operations in January.
