Just eight days until the Special Olympic Winter Games kick off in North Bay. The committee says everything is ready to go, and they have over 700 volunteers helping out with the events. The games start with opening ceremonies next Thursday at Nipissing University, at 7. Admission is free to the ceremonies and all six sport venues.
