A Northern Ontario MP honoured a soldier, formerly from Sudbury, in the House of Commons on Wednesday. John Rafferty of Thunder Bay-Rainy River talked about 34-year-old Jesse Tait. Tait was reported missing and OPP found his body near Thunder Bay. They say there was no foul play. Tait, who was a sergeant, was stationed at CFB Shilo, Manitoba. He was a sniper in Bosnia during 2003 and Afghanistan in 2008. Rafferty told his colleagues Canadians need to be there for our soldiers when they return from battle.
