Police investigating two residential break, enter and thefts in North Bay

North Bay police are investigating a couple of residential break-ins.

Police say a Ferguson Street resident who was away last Friday returned home Saturday night to find someone had broken into her place and made off with several hundred dollars of frozen food and a tablet.

The victim also told police the home was a mess.

Then around 11:00pm Sunday a Lisgar Street homeowner got back home and saw someone in his backyard.

When he yelled out, the person took off.

Police say the man went inside only to discover quite a few items were missing.

When police arrived and searched the area, they found the stolen goods behind the home.

Police are looking for those involved in both break-ins.
