Metso Minerals Canada is expanding. Thanks to a 1-million dollar provincial grant, the local mining company will be building a new 16-thousand square foot expansion. This will allow them to manufacture a new kind of mill lining at their plant at Commerce Court. The funding announcement was made by Mines Minister Michael Gravelle on Friday. The company expects to hire another 15 people when it’s built.
