One person is dead after a crash that happened on Highway 17 this morning. A car heading westbound crossed the centre lane and hit an eastbound transport truck, just west of the North Bay Regional Health Centre. The driver of the car  has been confirmed dead. The highway remains closed between Main West and Gormainville as police investigate.
