North Bay Pride officially opens Wednesday at 4:00pm at City Hall with a flag raising ceremony.
In advance of that, North Bay Pride will be making a presentation at the Tuesday evening North Bay City Council meeting.
At that meeting, Pride will be asking for the establishment of a Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council. The proposed committee would advise on city policies to ensure the 2SLGBTQ+ community is included in municipal decision-making.
And, North Bay Pride Week’s biggest event is on Saturday with the Pride March, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the downtown core.
