NBPS: Victim punched, robbed of wallet and vehicle at knifepoint

Last evening at approximately 7:30pm,  North Bay Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 700 block area of Front Street in North Bay.

Police say a delivery person had attended a residence and when he returned to his vehicle he was approached by three males, one brandishing what appeared to be a knife. A demand was made for money and a wallet and the victim complied.

The investigation revealed the victim was punched by one of the suspects and they took the victim’s vehicle, a silver 2001 Honda CRV with Ontario plate CFTZ107 and fled the scene. The victim was not physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The suspects are described as:

  • A white male in his mid-20s, heavy build (200+ pounds), with a strap beard, wearing dark clothing and a hat.
  • A white, in his mid-20s, thin, approximately 160 pounds, with a scraggly beard, wearing light clothing and a hat.
  • A First Nations male in his mid-20s, tall.

These males are considered dangerous and may have a knife. If you observe these suspects or this vehicle do not approach. Call 911 immediately providing your location and any descriptive details you can add.

Detective Constable Jackson, the lead investigator, requests anyone with any information that would assist in this ongoing investigation to contact NBPS. Anyone in the area of Front Street, Third Avenue or Morin Street that may have observed the vehicle shortly after 7:30pm on Monday or has video cameras that may assist to contact the NBPS at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.
