Beginning today, the playground at Lee Park will be closed as crews install a new, enhanced structure.
The existing equipment will be removed and a “new accessible and age-friendly structure,” will take its place.
The new playground will include wide ramps, large decks, and specialized accessible swings, seesaws and spinners.
Crews will begin removing the old playground equipment beginning today as part of a partnership between the City of North Bay and the Kiwanis Club.
The project is expected to be completed by October.
