OPP: Man in ‘suspicious vehicle’ at park charged with breaching prohibition order

According to the OPP, a Sudbury man with conditions to not attend a public park or swimming area where persons under 16 years of age can reasonably expect to be found has been arrested for doing just that.

Officers from the North Bay Detachment of the OPP have laid charges against 68-year-old Rheal P. Legault after an interaction at the Pimisi Lake Park rest stop, along Highway 17 in Calvin Township.

On Sunday, at approximately 5:00am, the provincial police were patrolling and report spotting a suspicious vehicle parked in the rest stop.

Upon speaking with the vehicle occupant, officers say they ascertained the subject was breaching a prohibition order.
