A man from Lindsay, Ontario, is facing a criminal charge following a historical sexual assault investigation by the North Bay Police.
On July 22, police arrested Walter Llewellyn Sheppard, also known as Lew Sheppard, age 74, and charged with him with one count of Indecent Assault on a Female — a former student of Sheppard’s between 1978 and 1982.
He is scheduled to appear in court in North Bay on September 3.
He was employed as a music teacher and department head at Chippewa Secondary School in North Bay until 1989.
