Proposed moose hunting rules upset OFAH

The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters say the government has to stop picking on moose hunters as a way to manage the moose population.  The Ministry of Natural Resources wants to delay the gun hunt by a week and change when moose calves can be hunted.  The changes are being proposed for most of Northern Ontario.  But the federation says the proposals are unnecessary and restrictive.  It says the MNR doesn’t have any data to prove these measures will help the declining population.
