Thousands in jewellery stolen from Deegan’s

Downtown mainstay Deegan’s, was the victim of a break, enter and theft last weekend.

Shortly after 5:10am on Saturday, the North Bay Police Service responded to an alarm at the business in the 100 block of Main Street West in North Bay.

Deegan’s has been a victim to crime several times, similar to closing Main Street West jewellery shop Pearls.

Police investigation reveals entry was gained through a rear door and it has been determined that two persons entered the location.

Stolen from the business was a case containing several thousand dollars worth of assorted jewellery.

The North Bay Forensic Identification Unit is assisting with this continuing investigation.

Police ask anyone with any information that may assist with ongoing investigations to call the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.
