OPP: The investigation continues into death of cyclist on Highway 63

The OPP is releasing more information about a fatal collision on Highway 63 Sunday morning.

After the collision between a car and bicycle, the 24-year-old female bicyclist from Grey County, Ontario, was brought to the hospital by paramedics, where she was pronounced dead.

A post mortem exam is tentatively scheduled for today in Ottawa.

The highway was closed for several hours between Anita Avenue and Margaret Street and the OPP says the incident remains under investigation.

OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI), Forensic Investigation Service (FIS), Highway Safety Division (HSD) and Remote Piloted Aerial System (RPAS) are assisting with the investigation.
