Two weeks into the NOJHL season and the Voodoos have their second star of the week.

Last week goaltender Owen Say held the honour, this week it goes to Gabby Kioki.

The 18-year-old Timmins product had six points over the Voodoos weekend sweep of Cochrane, Hearst, and Timmins. Kioki registered a goal and an assist in the game against the Crunch, a goal against the Lumberjacks and two goals and an assist against his hometown Rock.

The second-year player with Powassan, who also played a game with Cochrane in 2017/18, leads the league with six goals and has registered 30 in his first 60 NOJHL regular-season games.
