The City of North Bay reports Lakeside Drive will remain closed to traffic between Lavase Road and Sage Road “until further notice,” as City crews work to fix a water main break.
The repair work is expected to take several more weeks because the broken main is in close proximity to another underground water main.
Traffic will continue to be re-routed around the work zone via Mountainview Drive and Wickstead Avenue, as Lavase Road is also closed due to a separate project.
The City of North Bay will release further updates as work proceeds and a firm timeline is established.
