OPP investigating stolen vehicle found in East Ferris

Over the weekend, North Bay OPP responded to a call in regards to a vehicle that was stuck on a Corbeil Road property in East Ferris.

Upon investigation, the officers discovered the vehicle had been stolen from the Dunnville, Ontario, area. Witnesses on the scene told OPP that the occupants had fled the area.

A search by OPP Canine Unit officers and the Emergency Response Team yielded no results.

The OPP is continuing the investigation.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident or observed anyone in that area contact the North Bay OPP at (705) 495-3878 or toll-free at 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also submit information online to Crimestoppers. Being anonymous, you will not be required to testify in court and information you provide may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.
