The two local French-language school boards have joined forces once again to organize a celebration of Franco-Ontarian Day.
The event will be held today at 10:00am, in a partnership between the Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) and the Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord (CSCFN).
Hundreds of students and members of the community will gather at North Bay City Hall and celebrate by wearing green and white, the colours of the Franco-Ontarian flag.
Mayor Al McDonald and MP Anthony Rota will be on hand to help raise the Franco-Ontarian flag.
