Police looking for suspect in Main Street assault

North Bay Police are looking for help in identifying a woman in relation to an assault that took place on Friday.

In the early morning on Main Street, a woman was putting something into the trunk of a car when she was approached by another woman who pushed her and began swearing at her.

The lady who was assaulted removed herself from the situation and called 911. When the police arrived, the accused had left the area.

The suspect is described as;

  • A heavier set adult female
  • Dark burgundy hair wearing lots of make-up

At the time of the incident, she was wearing a grey jacket and had orange gloves on.
