North Bay Police have found and arrested a man in relation to child pornography.

As a result of an investigation at the accused’s house, a 35-year-old North Bay man has been charged with:

  • Two counts of Possession of Child Pornography
  • One count of Distribution of Child Pornography

The search warrant was executed on October 8 by members of the North Bay Police Service, along with members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit and Computer Forensics Unit.

The man was present at the home at the time the police came. Several electronic devices were seized from the property that police are holding for further analysis.

Following a bail hearing, the accused has been released from custody and will return to court on October 22 at the North Bay Courthouse to answer the charges.
