The OPP are trying to put together what happened to cause a fatal collision near South River Monday.
Around 10:00 am, a pickup truck struck a train on Machar-Strong Boundary road. The two people who were inside the pickup truck have died.
The Almaguin Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, South River Machar Fire Department and Sundridge-Strong Volunteer Fire Department all responded to the collision.
Police are continuing the investigation.
