Federal election set for Monday

Monday marks the 43rd federal election in Canada.

Polls will open at 9:30am and run for 12 hours until 9:30pm. All the information for voting can be found on the voters’ card that was sent in the mail. If you haven’t received a card, you can always check online to find your information.

The candidates for Nipissing-Timiskaming are Anthony Rota (Liberals), Jordy Carr (Conservatives), Alex Gomm (Green Party), Mark King (PPC) and Rob Boulet (NDP).

106.3 Moose FM and www.MyNorthBayNow.com will provide local and national updates as the polls report in on Monday night.
