October 24 marks Ontario Dress Purple Day

October is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

“It takes a village to raise a child” is a popular saying and one that the Children’s Aid Society of Nipissing and Parry Sound is taking to heart.

The campaign is to raise awareness and to highlight the role adults play in supporting children, youth and families.

October 24th is Ontario Dress Purple Day in which the public is encouraged to wear purple in support of the cause.
