The purse strings are being opened as the North Bay and Area Community Foundation (NBACF) is now accepting grant applications.
All local charitable groups are welcome to apply for the grants, which will be awarded at the NBACF annual foundation dinner that is scheduled to take place on May 1, 2020.
The NBACF says that they have given to more than 50 local charities since first dispersing the grants in 2010. According to the foundation, the goal is to create sustainable funding for the charities of our area, while working with donors to honour their legacy and connect them to the causes they care about most.
The deadline to apply is December 31.
If you wish to apply for the grants, you can find the application form online. Completed forms can be sent, via email, to [email protected]. You can also mail the forms to PO Box 22008 Fisher PO, North Bay, ON P1B 2H0.
