The North Bay Food Bank is ramping up for its fifth annual Cookie Walk.
Running on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the festivities will take place at Burrow’s Country Store and Garden Centre. Cookies and squares will be priced at $8 a dozen, and fancier cookies will be priced individually. All proceeds from the cookies will go toward the food bank.
The food bank recommends that you show up early in order to get the best selection. Members of the North Bay Ukulele Club will be on hand performing live music.
The North Bay Food Bank is available to accept food and monetary donations year-round. The food bank is located at 1016 Fisher Street in North Bay and is open to serve clients Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 am until noon and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The food bank also has extended business hours for those wishing to make donations at the food bank.
