Day two of the Moose 106.3’s radiothon set for Friday

Day one of Moose 106.3’s annual radiothon is almost in the books.

Steph Larouche, the afternoon announcer and program director for the station says it has been a hectic day, but well worth it.

“Mike (Monaghan), and Jess (Wernick) both had some guests in and a lot of performers along with donations,” Larouche stated. “It’s all in an effort to entice people to maybe not take for granted how wonderful their Christmas is, and understand others’ Christmas isn’t as great as theirs, so if we can help out through the North Bay Santa Fund, all the better.”

Starting at 6:00am on Friday, the station is once again opening its doors to business in the hopes of adding to the total. Monetary donations, cheque or cash, are appreciated and the Santa Fund will have tax receipts available.

This is Steph’s second year in North Bay partaking in the radiothon, and says he has some exciting plans for his show.

“I will have guests, performances, nice Christmas memories from residents that they have shared with me,” Larouche said.

This is the 13th year that Moose 106.3 has put on the radiothon.
