While out doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, head over to centre court at Northgate Shopping Centre and have your gifts wrapped for a good cause.
Volunteers from the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and Living Fit are wrapping gifts right up to Christmas Eve with all the proceeds going to a local charity.
The wrapping will take place during the mall’s hours. Each year the sorority chooses a charity to support and throughout the years have supported Gathering Place, North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, Community Living, Nipissing Serenity Hospice, Operation Warmth, and women’s support services such as the Transition House and Amelia Rising.
This is the third year that Living Fit has partnered with Beta Sigma Phi, who will donate their proceeds as well. Beta Sigma Phi says they have donated more than $200,000 since they first started participating in charity gift wrapping 38 years ago.
