Three people are dead after the vehicle they were in hit a rock-cut on Highway 17 near the Highway 144 turnoff.
Two of the passengers died at the scene and a third passenger died in hospital as a result of their injuries.
The deadly collision took place New Year’s Day just before 9:00am.
No names are being released until next of kin have been notified.
Two other passengers were hurt, one with serious injuries and the other with non-life threatening injuries,
The driver wasn’t hurt.
OPP investigators say the vehicle was westbound when it went off the highway and hit the rock-cut.
OPP personnel are working on what caused the vehicle to go off the road.
