The Nipissing Serenity Hospice will be hosting an open house this Saturday.
Coinciding with the grand opening of the Hospice, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. with the open house wrapping up at 1:00 p.m. Nipissing Serenity Hospice is extending the invitation to the whole community.
The Hospice adds the grand opening and open house is the culmination of eight years of volunteer work, fundraisers, and support from donors.
Once open, the Hospice will provide free 24-hour palliative and respite care to residents in Nipissing and East Parry Sound.
The Hospice is located at 799 John Street.
